  • Does not host or store any media files on our servers.
  • Does not upload, produce, or record any content whatsoever.
  • Provides only technical access tools (links, playlists, APIs) to third-party streams.
  • All content originates from external servers beyond our control.
02

DMCA Takedown Request

Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), copyright owners or authorised agents may request the removal of infringing material. Your written notice must include all of the following:

Infringing Material

Exact details such as URLs, channel names, or playlist identifiers.

Good‑Faith Statement

03

Submission of Notices

Send all DMCA takedown notices in writing to our designated DMCA agent:

Upon receiving a valid notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), NZ IPTV will:

  • Review the request for full statutory compliance.
  • Disable or restrict access to the identified links, playlists, or channels when appropriate.
  • Notify relevant third-party providers of the alleged infringement where possible.
04

Counter‑Notice Procedure

If you believe content was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must contain:

  • Your full legal name and complete contact information.
  • Identification of the specific material removed or disabled and its former location.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that removal or disabling was the result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

NZ IPTV will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. If the complainant does not take legal action within the statutory period, NZ IPTV may restore access to the removed material.

05

Limitation of Liability

Because NZ IPTV does not host, store, or upload any content, our liability is strictly limited in the following ways:

  • We cannot delete or alter files located on external third-party servers.
  • Our role is limited to disabling access links, playlists, or channels available through our platform only.
  • We cannot guarantee transparency or removal outcomes from independent third-party hosts.
  • We act strictly within the DMCA safe-harbour provisions by removing or disabling access only from our platform.
06

Repeat Infringement Policy

NZ IPTV enforces a strict repeat infringement policy under 17 U.S.C. §512(i). Accounts identified as repeat infringers will be suspended or permanently disabled without refund. This policy is applied without exception.

This policy applies to all users of the NZ IPTV platform regardless of subscription tier or account standing. Repeat infringement includes any account that has had two or more valid DMCA notices actioned against it.

Conclusion & Our Commitment

NZ IPTV implements this DMCA Policy in full accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512. We operate under the DMCA safe-harbour provisions and respond to valid takedown notices and counter-notices as required by law.

Our responsibility is limited to disabling access to infringing material on our platform, and all actions follow our statutory obligations under applicable New Zealand and international copyright legislation.
